Eco Council

The Eco-Council works to ensure that the school is an environmentally friendly place for all and that everyone is actively doing their part for the good of the earth. The school is part of the Eco-Schools programme and in June 2024 we achieved the Green Flag and the status of being an Eco-friendly school.

We aim to achieve the Green Flag again in June 2026. We have undertaken an Environmental Review of the whole school and put together an Action Plan for the year.

Along with the children and staff of St.Martin's, the Eco Committee work hard to keep our school environmentally friendly. We have been working on reducing the energy used in school, promoting a healthy lifestyle and encouraging a culture of outdoor learning.
