During our November-December topic of 'Bear Necessities,' we worked in groups to create freestanding bridges between the desks in our classroom using lollipop sticks and masking tape. We tested to see if they would hold the weight of different sized compare bears, linking to our topic about bears. All our bridges were able to stand unaided and held the weight of the bears! Great teamwork!
