This week we had a delicious problem to solve.
Mrs Maw has phoned the bakery to order 5 cakes each with 5 cherries on top for her daughter Georgia’s birthday.
When Mrs Maw arrives at the bakery to collect the cakes she discovers that Mr Mess the baker has make a mistake and does not have the correct number of cherries on each cake.
Mrs Maw has a clever idea. She decides to cut each cake into quarters and then re-arrange the quarter cakes so that every new cake has 5 cherries.
Can you help Mrs Maw arrange the cakes so that each cake has five cherries?
