P6 children went to Gilroy's shop today as part of a numeracy lesson.
The children have been learning about percentages in numeracy.
We went to Gilroy's to consolidate our learning by finding percentages of an amount. The children had to find the item, then apply the discount and finally work out how much the item would cost after the discount was applied. They worked really hard and we brought the P5 back some treats! Well done everyone.
