In Numeracy we have been learning all about 2D and 3D shapes.
We used straws to make 3D shapes to help us understand the properties of shapes.
It helped us learn and remember the number of faces, vertices and edges of each shape.
The children used geo boards to show their understanding of the properties of 2D shapes by making 2D shapes.
The children also worked in pairs with E.A.R.L to make 2D shapes.
Also, the children then linked Art to Numeracy by completing some beautiful cubism art.
